Your Role: As a Payroll Specialist at WES Construction Corp., you will work directly with our Office Manager and Treasurer to ensure payroll and related tasks are completed with accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:<ul><li>Accurately complete weekly payroll for 65+ employees, including time verification</li><li>Coordinate with subcontractors to collect and report certified payroll</li><li>Support monthly reconciliation of accounts</li><li>Lead onboarding and offboarding of employees, ensuring accurate reporting</li><li>Provide general administrative support to leadership and staff</li><li>Support miscellaneous office tasks</li></ul> We are seeking a candidate with:<ul><li>2+ years of payroll experience</li><li>Construction industry experience is a plus</li><li>Union payroll experience is a plus</li><li>Team player with good communication skills</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality</li></ul> This is a part time role based in Halifax, MA. Initially, position will be 20-25 hours per week. Specific schedule to be discussed with qualified candidates. Potential for transition to full-time role in the future.
